The Birkdale Golf Club is a public access facility
that prides itself on being a public access facility that features “private
club” characteristics. The facility offers a 7,013 yard, 72 par course that
offers a challenged to all types of golfers from professional to recreational.
On site amenities for this site include a pro shop, a practice facility which
includes a driving range and both short game and putting areas. The Birkdale
Golf Club also boasts an on site tavern called Arnie’s Tavern which is a
popular casual dining spot among club patrons.

The North Course was redesigned the same year by Tom Jackson and originally designed in 1962 by Ellis Maples.
